Make way for the stunning new Volkswagen Passat


Volkswagen is back and this time it is all set to offer its new and improved Passat in the Indian market by the end of March.The new Volkswagen Passat is expected to be offered with a price tag of around Rs 23 lakh (Rs 2.3 million).

The luxury sedan will be powered by the familiar 1.8 TSI engine that does duty in the current Passat, Skoda Laura and Skoda Superb. A 2.0TDI is also likely to be on offer.
The car will have the striking Bluemotion technology that is claimed to consume 4.9 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres.The new Passat is more refined and special emphasis seems to have been laid on the acoustic sealing and the damping of the suspension. The car shows visible improvement as lesser noise and bumps filter into the cabin.

Features:
Apart from bold lines, new structured nose, wide grille and design hints from the ultra luxurious Phaeton the new Passat has a number of other striking features.On the inside the car has a much better built, plenty of chrome on elbow rests, vents, instruments, steering and buttons.

Features like Park Assist, radar-based cruise control and Lane Assist would be offered  in the new Passat.The seats are big and comfortable and to spoil you a little more the company is offering massaging seats.While there is ample shoulder and headroom, the legroom is not at par with some others in the segment.

Price:
An expected price tag of about Rs 23 lakh.
